Our promise to our Manufacturers:
Our sales and service staff enjoy long-standing relationships with the clinicians in their territories, so that when we represent
a product, it will find its way to key decision-makers in days.
Our salespeople are technically sophisticated; they are not afraid to talk shop with doctors, nurses, departmental heads and
materials managers about the technologies they represent.
We take care of our manufacturers’ in-servicing needs, customer
service, and inventory hassles, while working with the MFR to market products in the most effective way possible.
We support
our manufacturers through market research and product exhibits at regional and national medical conventions.
Simply put, we offer enhanced value to clinical, and other, decision-makers quicker and more cost-effectively than you by
yourself.
Nightingale-Alan Medical can put you in contact with a nation-wide network of other distributors to market your
product using these same principals.

Our History
Nightingale Medical was formed by A. WM (Bill) Nightingale in 1976 to serve
the Cincinnati area Home Care Community and the Hospital Community in
the Southwest Ohio and the Northern Kentucky area.
Nightingale soon became a dominant sales company in this area with the
Puritan Bennett Ventilator Line and the Ohio Anesthesia Line.
Nightingale had a great reputation in the Home Care field with the introduction
of the Apnea Monitor Program (which also moved into the Louisville area)
and the Home Ventilator Market for pediatric patients.
Nightingale Medical became a player in the Hospital Repair and Preventative
Maintenance field with the introduction of that program in 1979.
At its peak 75+ hospitals were serviced in a four state area. In the mid 1980’s
numerous lines that Nightingale represented went direct and the Home Care
was sold to a national company.
Nightingale focused its full attention to the hospital sales and service by joining
with Richard Alan and Associates and Turner Biomedical to become
Nightingale Alan Medical. This move gave us presence in seven states
(Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, West Pennsylvania,
and West Virginia). Nightingale also joined IMDA (www.IMDA.com) to expand
its marketing and technology base and to be on the lookout for innovative
technologies.
Today’s Nightingale Alan Medical serves medical communities in Respiratory
Care, Central Service, ICU, Anesthesiology, Pulmonary Function, Extended
Care, Home Care Sales, EMS, Hospital Repair and Preventative Maintenance
with dedicated sales personnel, service technicians, and support
personnel to meet your requirements.
